Joseph Noto states that on Thursday, June 5, 2014, the NJ Senate Budget and Appropriation Committee at its hearing Unaimously voted to release S-1224 NJ Family Collaborative Law Act Bill to the NJ Senate. Joseph Noto, a collaborative divorce lawyer and a member of the Legislative Committee of the NJ Council of Collaborative Practice Law Groups, says this is really a big event in moving the Bill along and the Legislative Committee, along with the various group members and its’ lobbyist, Valerie Brown, worked very hard to get it to this point. On June 12, 2014 the NJ Assembly Judiciary Committee will be hearing this bill and hopefully this can also get passed by it to be released to the Assembly.
